I would say we're most famous for St. Patrick's Day in Southie, although Patriots Day (3rd Monday in April) is unique to Mass. and commemorates the battles of Lexington and Concord. "Evacuation Day" is Boston only. Some suspect it's so Bostonians can have St. Patrick's Day off. (Evacuation Day is March 17) Boston also has Bunker Hill Day (June 17) commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill during the Revolutionary War.

First Night (I think we invented it), St. Patrick's Day in South Boston, July 4th (we're on TV with the Boston Pops and fireworks, and there's a big historical Harborfest, the USS Constitution sails out, it's big), Evacuation Day (very obscure, but school's out for that day), Patriots Day/Marathon Day.
