"Evacuation Day" is Boston only. Some suspect it's so Bostonians can have St. Patrick's Day off. (Evacuation Day is March 17) Boston also has Bunker Hill Day (June 17) commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill during the Revolutionary War.
