Booking a trip and want to know if we should go ahead and buy the $30 round trip ground transportation or would a taxi be cheaper?

It’s about the same price and from my experience..the taxis at the airport are cleaner and the drivers are nicer. There is a taxi stand as soon as you go outside of the airport.
Hmmm?
When I flew in last year. I took the shuttle. It only cost me $13.00?
It may have gone a up a bit, but not 50%.
They pile a bunch of us on different buses and just toured around from hotel to hotel till they get to yours. Holiday Inn Express was mine on Loyola.
I had to ask to see if my hotel was on their approved list. That was all.

Buy the ground transportation (airport shuttle). The taxi will run about $28 plus tip, each way. (I just came home from NOLA yesterday!)

I’m going there next weekend. I don’t know what this ground transportation you’re talking about. Can you please tell me where you’re looking?

Taxi fares between the airport and the city center are regulated: The fare is $28 each way for 1 or 2 people.
The airport shuttle is $15 each way per person.
