We’re doing a fashion show and might have a Mardi Gras theme. The theme is a little cliche now with the masks and colors but, how could we make it new and refreshing? What can we do different from other Mardi Gras parties? Any ideas or tips?

It says mardi gras starts feb 24th but when does like the night events start on like bourbon street where they throw beads etc. Like the events you see on cops. Does all this start before 24th or what. give me some help please.
