What are the two items thrown to the crowd from a Mardi Gras parade float?


Also, what are the groups of pepole who sponsor the parades, create the floats, and often ride on the floats in the parade? What cake is served during Mardi Gras celebrations?

    beads dablooms candy and other random items[[ex cups]]
    the cake served is called a king cake[[the best]]
    it usually has 1-2 fillings or no fillings at all and is covered in mardi gras colored sprinkels[[green gold and purple]]
    inside one piece is a plasric baby
    whoever gets the baby is expected to buy the next king cake

    1. Beads and Cups or Duboons (more than town tiems are thrown but beads and cups are what you would get msot often because some krewes have stopped throwing duboons

    2.the groups are called Krewes, each organization comes up with there themes, but most floats are made by Blaine Kern.

    They throw lots of things such as beads, stuffed animals, cups, frisbees, etc.
    The people are called krewes and the cake is called king cake.

    There called Throws: Zulu coconuts, Dubloons, Beads, Candy, Little toys, and Throw Cups.
    That’s the krewes (pronounced crews). They organize everything.
    And the cake is King Cake.

    The groups:
    the name of the paraide is the name of the club that sponsers it. and it is the riders that pay for all of the expensice. it is called dues and they pay for it periodically through out the year. the riders also pay for all of there throws.

    Two items thrown are beads, doubloons, cups, toys, candy, etc. The krewe sponsors a parade. King cake is the cake served. I love the pecan pralines and cream kind. It is so yummy.
